Rematrix joins the European Textile PRO Forum

This initiative, coordinated by Euratex-the confederation of apparel and textiles-aims to strengthen collaboration and exchange of best practices at a crucial time for the future of the industry.

Rematrix has officially joined the Textile PRO Forum, the European initiative dedicated to organizations engaged in Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) for the textile and footwear industry.

The forum, launched in Brussels and coordinated by EURATEX - the European Apparel and Textile Confederation-brings together EPR consortia and trade associations from across Europe, with the aim of strengthening collaboration and the exchange of best practices at a crucial time for the future of the sector.

The impending obligation to separately collect textile waste and the revision of the Waste Framework Directive impose an acceleration toward more harmonized and effective models. The Textile PRO Forum was created precisely to facilitate a structured comparison and to contribute to the definition of shared tools among the different European EPR systems.

Among the main goals of the initiative:

  • Reduce administrative burdens for producers and PROs;

  • Harmonize eco-modulation criteria;

  • Supporting the circular economy and recycling supply chains;

  • Facilitate the emergence and strengthening of PROs at the national level.

Rematrix participates with the intention of actively contributing to these processes, bringing its experience in the integrated management of textile waste and the promotion of concrete circular solutions that are already operational on the ground.
