Rematrix participates in European events on innovation and recycling
From Austria to Germany, we bring our vision of circular economy through partners and advanced technologies to valorize materials and industrial waste.
September is a month of important participations for Rematrix in the European industrial sustainability scene. On September 10, in fact, we were at the Dornbirn Global Fiber Congress (GFC) in Austria, an event that brought together more than 100 international experts and stakeholders from the textile and fiber industry.
During the workshop of ReHubs, a collaborative hub of which Rematrix is a member, Cveta Majtanovic, Chief Sustainability Officer of our strategic partner Rubber Conversion, presented advanced devulcanization technology for closed-loop recycling of footwear. The talk highlighted how the valorization of used soles can turn an environmental challenge into a concrete sustainability opportunity for the entire industry.
As an innovative Producer Responsibility Organization, we have shared our vision: through partnerships with leading companies such as Rubber Conversion, it is possible to use cutting-edge technologies to generate new second raw material for reuse, going beyond mere regulatory compliance.
In the following days, we went to theReHubs event in Frankfurt, a European organization committed to transforming textile recycling into concrete industrial opportunities. The meeting offered two days of networking and discussion on the circular economy, with the opportunity to visit Reju Regeneration Hub Zero, a state-of-the-art demonstration plant for recycling polyester and PET waste, along with representatives from the European Commission and EURATEX.
These experiences confirm our commitment to working with forward-looking partners to breathe new life into complex industrial streams, following the philosophy of sustainable innovation and smart reuse.
